Infants

In our Infant room we have a ‘no-shoe policy’. Everyone’s shoes are taken off as soon as they arrive at the infant room and put in their cubbies, including the caregivers. All of the hard toys are sanitized with a bleach solution and soft ones are laundered at the end of the day. The caregiver uses gloves to diaper your child and afterwards washes her hands along with your child’s hands, too. We maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment for your infant. We have close-circuit security camera in all of our rooms along with viewing windows in the hall and in between rooms. Our Infant Program is composing of:

  •  Quiet Play- using soft dolls, animals, and balls.
  • Music and Movement- using miniature instruments, singing/dancing.
  • Storytelling- using puppets to tell a story.
  • Creative Arts and exploration- including mirrored walls, helping infants use large crayons on paper.
  • Toys- age appropriate, squeeze, and pull/push.
  • Self help skills- reaction toys and blocks.
